Thankfully Verrazano won't be unnecessarily rushed -- Pegasus next.

“It’s six weeks before the Haskell – I like that spacing,” Pletcher said. “It’s seven weeks out from the Derby, which gives him enough of a freshening.”

Could be a decent race though with Itsmyluckyday also possibly running there.

My favorite day in racing used to be when you could go to the JC Gold Cup during the day and head to the Meadowlands that night for the Pegasus.

That sort of aggressive campaigning is going to require several months of recovery. Maybe BC Mile, but has the Stakes schedule for Gulfstream been released yet?
