Maybe only Old Dog and Ocala Mike would remember the Diamonds, but you young folks give a listen..
I didn't know Tom Hanks father was the lead singer of the Diamonds. Great group, and great song. Yes, I remember it well but according to Wikipedia (I know, I know), Tom Hanks' father was never a member of this group.
