The schedules currently listed on team's websites will have to be modified, correct? So the freaking Penguins don't get a 10 game homestand as was prescribed by the original schedule?

Yes, schedules to be announced. Play each division team 7 times and home and home with other teams in conference is being mentioned. No Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference this year is almost a sure thing.
