What he said. This is all assuming of course that your fiance has as much of an interest in horses as do you. Several farms have hours for tours, and there are companies that will take you on a guided tour of a few farms, which is nice because they can give you the local flavor. Round out your horse experience with a visit at Old Friends.

Lexington is a nice city. I would call a couple of the horse farms and make an appointment to visit. I have been to Claiborne and would do it again. The bloodhorse web site has a farm directory. Other posts here indicated that 3 chimneys and shadwell were good tours. The tour lasts about one hour. I would visit the Ky museum on CD property.
