Well, we held off the jinx for another day. Contested won the 8th with 5 lengths to spare. The lone wolf who picked the fav in the 9th also survived.

I'm probably going to regret this, but at literally the last minute, 12:51 on the Showvivor clock (I thought it was supposed to cut off at 12:50!), I switched from Stormberg in the 2nd to Cheese Danish in the 5th. Hell, I already regret it. We'll see. egads, I made it. (Cheese Danish finished 2nd to the horse I should have chosen if I was going to pick from that race!). Regardless, it was an awful pick. I feel like I've been given a gift by not being eliminated.
One player has been knocked out already. 3 more have picks in the 7th. Thanks for the cheering! --Dunbar
