Besides most of the digs are funny and not mean.

It's all subjective. What you find funny might be viewed as mean by others and vice versa.

I don't know what a personal attack on a message board really is, but some might view mocking how someone looks as a personal attack. Regardless of who the person is. Mocking is mocking.
