Sorry to be slow responding... Finally got a chance to talk to Gary in detail last night. He's taking the blame for Sable's non-descript run. He put the current version of turn down shoes on her hoping she'd appreciate the extra traction they provide, but she 'ran down' in them and cut herself up pretty good. She hadn't been catching herself that way -- something she was doing as a 2yo -- in many starts. She'll be fine and ready to go after the start of the new year.
