He didn't say that they were in second, Hossy stated that it's the second worst divison in the league.

a win is a win in the NFL. and its especially difficult on the road. any team has the capability to be competitive on any sunday (except the colts). the vikings played one of their best games of the season against Tebow and the Broncos still won on the road.

though there is something incorrect. he was referencing Tebow critics. Tebow is 6-1, not 7-5. You certainly can't pin the 1-4 start on Tebow.

![]() Hes wrong about the Texans, not really sure what hes being thanked for. Not that it would matter for a first round game anyway because if they are both in the playoffs they are likely division winners. The Texans have a rookie QB. A great RB and great D. Denver plays D and would make the Texans 1 dimensional. Denver would have a huge chance to beat them in Denver.

![]() For Broncos/Tebows fans it is nothing more than a freeroll right now. Regardless of what happens they believe (and rightfully so) that their season is a sucess no matter what. Playoffs weren't even in their vocabulary at the begining of the season and amazingly they still have a chance to get in. For the critics, it more about Tebow's individual performance and more importantly the playoffs, so until Timmy gets them there/wins a playoff game, the critics will pretty much consider it a failed expierment.

![]() I know, the point is really moot. For anyone to say the Texans would destroy them is just silly. I think Denver would get beat by New England, Baltimore and I guess Pittsburg, even though I dont like Pittsburg this year. Anyone else Denver can beat. Not really because of Tebow, but that defense has been awesome.

All of these are now possible at least partially because of the QB switch. It is fun, enjoy it, you would if you lived here. This has been one sad football town for many years.

Like I said in the other post, Broncos fans are probably just ecstatic to still be in the race this late in the season.

Since Week 2 the Texans have allowed one 100 yd rusher, Ray Rice, who got 101 in a Week 6 win. During that span the Texans have shut down Maurice Jones-Drew twice, Chris Johnson, LaGarrette Blount, and Michael Turner. Stack that on top of allowing Darren McFadden 51 yds rushing in Week 5 and Rashard Mendenhall 25 yds in Week 4. So, Denver would beat Houston throwing the ball? Teams facing the Texans have completed 49.8% of their passes, the next lowest percentage is Oakland allowing 52.3%. They've allowed the fewest passing yards, are tied for the 2nd highest amount of interceptions and opposing QBs have a passer rating of 60.7 against them. So St. Timmy is going to torch them through the air? The Minnesota defense he played last week is awful and that made him look good. They also focused all of their attention on Eric Decker and allowed Demaryius Thomas, who had been non-existent in the Broncos offense to get free for a few big gains. The Texans would beat Denver by at least 10 no matter where the game is played with TJ Yates, Jake Delhomme, Jeff Garcia, or the three of them platooning. |

![]() I dont think Denver can beat the Pats or Ravens. In Denver, maybe they can beat Pittsburg. Anyone else I think they can beat home or road.

![]() Everyone is beating them up over who they have beaten and how... has everyone forgotten they were the 2nd worst team in the league last year? Of course their schedule is weak. Aside from them playing the best and second best divisions in football from both conferences as their out of division opponents.

![]() If they do happen to beat New England next week it will be only because "the Pats D is injured" or "they are the worst Pats team for years" all while the Pats keep winning and winning...
