The P5 at HOL in my opinion is nothing more than a faux bet to say that "we're doing something" for the horseplayer when really they aren't. Not to mention the small fields early and the fact that it's hurting other pools isn't good for the racetracks bottom line. Today's Pick 6 pool was just over $98k.

Not to mention that the consolation payoff is a joke. Last Friday it paid $3.85 and today it paid $10.30. They should either keep it on the first race, drop the P4, and make it $1 or put it on the final 5 races and keep it at .50¢. And while they're on it, they should drop the Quinella. The pools are $3-$5k per race for the bet.
