Each passing weak the top 4-5 horses seem to separate themselves even more...sometimes without even running.

Other than Mo, I think the more talented runners have revealed themselves later, rather than earlier.
Maybe the Derby isn't going to be a stellar race, but the races later on in the fall, and maybe even into next year, those could be very nice. |

To Honor and Serve will beat Uncle Mo like a rented mule in the Derby.

Maybe but he better get a lot faster fast. To date this looks like the Big Brown Derby, a bunch of crap chasing the one fast colt.
