Never even knew Biancone trained for Paulson for that matter.
Yeah, Palace Music was a runner.

Seeing those names he ran against, wow, it really puts our current turf racing into clear focus.

Well, when one person buys most of the good bloodlines, and then either doesn't race them or ruins them, top class racing goes down the toilet.

There was an incredible collection of Euro imports in the '85 Breeders Cup.

That was when Theatrical made his US debut. Besides him - Pebbles, Strawberry Road, Lashkari, and Triptych all entered in the BC Turf.

Strawberry Road was also Biancone - so Biancone trained both the sire and damsire of Cigar.

Theatrical got a nice ride that day.

I didn't know Strawberry Road sired Solar Slew!

As for Palace Music, did you notice that in his one really bad race, he got trounced by the grandsire of one of the greatest horses of the last 30 years?

The other race he finished poorly, 4th by 9, he got beat by the underrated and forgotten Commanche Run.
