how would that be accomplished? after the 2006 "ban" on internet gambling one publically held company (party poker) restricted access to u.s. residents.

everyone who didn't already have one opened new accounts at full tilt, ultimate bet, poker stars, or one of a few hundred lesser known privately held sites.

i have a hard time imaginging all the sites that already accept u.s. customers in violation of current u.s. law suddenly giving up a large part of their customer base because of a new law.
