This has happened before, and they will probably pay off your winning wager, but legally they don't have to. They will make you feel like they are doing you a big favor, however.
That explains why my losing pick 4 wager was refunded.  Amtote is the villian here, there system is anything but foolproof, and they apparently have no liability when it fails.
