LAL was a nice 3 yr old in a bad year of 3 yr olds. There was not a heckuva lot in thsi race. The two best horses were noses apart.

i agree, a weaker classic than some. i can't believe they were calling it one of the deepest ever. but then, there's been a lot of hyperbole this year. i guess they think if you say it enough, it'll make it so. if it would generate more interest, it would be great-because it gets tiresome.

I'm sure you've raved about some of the better Classics before. Maybe I just missed that. Maybe you just can't get over the Zenyatta thing you've got going. It's a rather simplistic view.
