You could see that sthe was splinting her abdomen. there was a sharp line of demarcation all along her ventral body. I have worked the gate asa vet for 25 years and all the jock had to say is look at me.. I saw it from far away

Pletcher said she may have had a bad reaction to Lasix or the lights were bothering her or a combo. They should have scratched her. People who placed a bet on her have a right to be angry.

The trainer and the jockey should have jointly scratched her if they felt she wasn't 100% right. Nothing like putting the welfare of the horse first.
