Hmmm, where do I have Washington on the College Football Top 25 polls? Better yet, where does everyone else?

I wonder why no one ships in for a couple of hundrend g's to beat the big mare? Can it just be that they are so against synthetics that they wouldnt dare come race on principle alone. Is it the owners who dont want to try it or the trainers? Her races on dirt show alot more turn of foot than her races on synthetic of course this just my opinon but I just dont get why a 5k plane ride and some hotel rooms for help doesnt attract more people to come and try and beat her. Its gotta be the synthetic principle, call b ullshit but dont show up to prove it.

Honestly Honu is one of the few CA people that at least offers something different than the usual fare. What is maddening is the older horse division stinks yet the Z camp still cared more about that stupid streak. The reason that very few horses ever had streaks like that? No one cared about wins in a row if there were bigger races to chase.

I'm a Californian. I have my ten year chip. I've also been a Floridian, a Chicagoan, and an Ohioan. Thankfully all those places have thoroughbred horse racing. And more thankfully, I have been a South Carolinian for 20 years along the way. I think I know a bit about horse race gambling. I have my "California soft side," but my Southern legacy is to own and shoot guns. I am a fan of Zenyatta. And I hate stereotyping. Except that I think most Northeasterners are pseudo "open minded," and quick to reach conclusions with minimal observation, research and analysis. Anyone here who thought Zenyatta was in a walkover last Saturday could have put her in an exacta over the obvious 2nd best horse in the race and doubled their investment. Anyone do it? Redboarding allowed here... |
