DH, I think you know what I was referring to. Anyway I'll say it again RK is the 6th horse to exit the 09 Classic field to win a grade 1 this year out of the 7 that have raced this year. Name me another race last year that can boast that %?

Unless you look at the races they won and who was in them, this stuff really doesn't matter. What person in their right mind would use the results of that trainwreck of a race today as some sort of way to boast about Zenyatta?

![]() Furthermore, this Zenyatta thing is old, infact I rarely am the first to bring it. When I said I moved on, I mean't it. And really there is nothing for me to add until she runs in the Classic. Look at the posts here of mine this year, I'll let them speak for themselves. If others phish for a response I may give them one, but this is hardly the reason why I post here. |

/horses after the fact, or to just name call? It's a tough call but I'll say it's a tie for all of the above. |

But, to reiterate. First came the Horse Whisperer. Next came the Dog Whisperer. Then the Ghost Whisperer. I am the Tard Whisperer. My purpose here on Earth is to get tards to see the light. Clearly I am unqualified when it comes to certain tards though. |

Richard's Kid was an ordinary horse on dirt. He was dusted by Macho Again in the 2009 New Orleans Handicap. He moves to the fake stuff and has now twice won the richest race in California.

How many of those Grade 1 wins this year have been on real dirt?

Probably none, but what does this have to do with the field that lined up in the 09 Classic?

The Breeders Cup Classic is one of the most important dirt races in North America. It is a shame if the horses who ran in it cannot compete at the highest levels on real dirt.

But aren't half the Major tracks in NA on synth and half on dirt? You can say the same thing this year at CD. Half the horses that should be at CD will not be there or won't be as effective. Does that diminish this year's Classic because of this?

You can't be serious.

What's not serious about this? Or is this a dirt-centric bias working here. Like it or not, racing today is a combination of dirt and synthetics. I have accepted it, you may tell me it is an unfair surface, but seeing a sprinter stretch out on dirt on a speed favoring surface and running like an energizer bunny, is this fair also? Is this a superior/better surface?
