His sire Da Stoops was a very fast horse and when I noticed the workout pattern and Pedrosa jumped from the 7 to him, I thought that was a key move knowing he was jumping off a horse who ran 2nd in his first start and he went with a different horse.

RockHard,
It's amazing how simple hints in workouts get over looked by the public because a leading rider or trainer is not connected with that horse. If Rosario or Bejarano was on him odds would have been 9/2 or less...not 13-1. Good pick as well to you.

And yes, I did bet him flat with exacta and tri too.

The trainer was 0 for 13 or something with first time starters. Hard to back someone like that.

He did have a right type of sire for sprints though and I overlooked that fact.

I asked you a question about works in another thread and you didn't answer me. What does 'the works were there' mean?

I really did not see the question.
I thought the horse was as likely as anyone, the race sucked and I even wrote that I thought it was ripe for a firster to pop. A lot of luck went into the pick, but the 4/90 work was pretty strong, or 3/74 or something strong like that. Im not saying I bet the horse, I did not bet it, I did not bet anything today, but that horse totally bailed me out as my top pick ran second 6 times today and I went 1/9 overall, so yea when that horse won at 13-1 I was excited.

How many horses have 4/90 and 3/74 works and run like ass? I'd say plenty.
