This telecast has the potential of being the worst racing production I have ever seen. Truly astounding.

From a marketing standpoint the network is trying to cater to their typical demographic (middle-aged women and gay men) who if they were watching probably change the channel 30 seconds in.

One of the guys just talked about how it's his first race---no! Shocking. He seems nice though. I know it sounds silly, but sometimes having a few very basic questions answered might be just what some folks would really like. Remember, he's kinda representing a lot of newbie fans out there.

Now we've got Donna Brothers, Tom Hammond and Gary Stevens. Thankfully people who know what they're talking about for the actual race. Might've been fun to see the other guy call it though.

This stuff is awful. Real Housewives clips at 3 minutes to post. I'd prefer no TV coverage to this.

It was kinda fun to watch our guys throw up in their mouths a little when they shifted suddenly from picking the winner to showing the top 5 Real Housewives horse related moments. I wanna know how much energy it took to try to keep a straight face.

At least they're showing it there, here in CA they're showing one of their stupid reality shows with three women arguing with each other. They just showed a promo for "Bravo at the Derby" coming up at 5:00 today, guess they'll show the race on tape delay.

I'm watching it live in L.A. on Dish. It has been a particularly brutal telecast.
