![]() Congrats to Tim Ritchey and company, but let's not get carried away. Tim will tell you himself that it is a whole different ball game versus open company. Tim will definitely make the right decisions when it comes up to where I'm a Number Guy races next and in the future. I know there are plenty of New York supporters on this forum that wish that New York Breds can be competitive with open company, but the numbers don't match up. They are simply behind the proverbial eight ball.
The avg foals around the country per year: Kentucky - 8,500 Florida - 4,500 California - 3,500 New York - 2,000 I do have to admit that New York breds are better than California breds overall. It would be a much fair challenge to have NY vs. Cali state bred races than FL vs Cali in the Sunshine Millions. |
