It is NY, they can't come up with a marketing plan and a real stakes race? How about bringing in a big name band and putting a Stakes race for older horses in there. Tie it into a Friday Mets game or something. NYRA is clueless compared to the two big groups that run Churchill and Pimlico. Pimlico is a terrible track and they still pack them in on Friday before the Preakness. |
