Bummer, quoth Chip. I was hoping to get some good winners there for the Public Handicapper contest. We did have (and continue to have) gobs of rain, occasional thundershowers, here in Central Kentucky. Ground would probably have been bottomless, as they say across the pond.

Thanks for the heads up on KY Downs closing for today. There's 3 bucks I'll save on a program...(which I'll later lose @ BEL...). I haven't placed a wager there (EVER) but was looking forward to getting my feet wet taking some shots on some of my favorite jockeys from the CD meet. But since it's too wet in central KY...I guess I'll get "soaked" @ BEL instead.
