Nick--I am almost certain that Twinspires pays back 100% of entry fees when you consider the cost of the 25 seats (50k for the NHC seats and 10k for the HPWS) plus travel and prize money.
I have already qualified this year but will still be playing in the Twin Spires contest as it is a good deal for the players.

I'm sure you're right Paul as I've been told that the NTRA fee for 3 seats to the NHC has gotten a bit pricy.
