I certainly think you see more stupidity from the betting public on synthetic tracks than with anything else.

I love betting early season 2yo races because I have a huge edge over everyone else with them for a wide variety of reasons ... but the main thing is that the public does a poor job with those type of races.

If you look at synthetic track racing ... I've had an outstanding record with it even though I don't focus on it.

* 2 straight years I've shown a flat bet profit at a 100 day meet picking every PID race a day in advance - and I bet with great success there this year.

* I've done very well in any type of handicapping contest I've been part of that involves a Syn track.

* I had one of my biggest scores of the year in the Blue Grass this year.

But basically ... none of that is about what I'm doing right .. it's about what the betting public seems to be doing wrong.

Look at Swift Temper's lifetime record on turf and syn ...

Shouldn't you have to be able to atleast run a 50 Beyer one time before they make you post time favorite in a Grade 1 stake?

I'm not so sure the betting public, in general, doesn't have a better handle on a field of 2yo debuters going 5fs in May ... than they do on basically any Syn track race.
