WOW...Munnings off the board.

I hate the rail draw for him as well, but off the board?

AND Kensei. Probably the two best horses to hit the track today, but can't fault anyone taking a stand against! I know I'll be all over them. GL all!

Mike,

Kensei looks like Strong Hope to me. I'll be a bit surprised if he can beat the 2, 3, 4 and 6. And he's going to be a very short price to take given the likely pace scenario. Another that can win but I'm going in a different direction.

G/L today!

Steve,

Do you think Rutherienne can handle the Soft Turf.. She has a record of 2-6 on off tracks but that is on tracks listed as Good.

Steve,

Thanks for some great to picks today. If Rutherienne could have held on would of hit pic 6 by just keying most of your top pics, Think you had the last 4 on top. Keep up the great work. I know you were feeling off your first couple days back but like you say keep plugging. Sorry I missed you at the Spa last week but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Will protect Munnings in some P3's, but am not a fan. And especially didn't like what they did with him at MTH. Can he win? Of course. But I think he's worth playing against.

G/L today VJ!

NIce call Byk...he sure looked dull.
Its easy to question Todd now, as I think the Haskell turned out to be his demise today, but TAP said the horse was doing so good after the Tom Fool on JUly 4th there was no way to keep him in the barn until the end of August.

So the Haskell was the perfect spot to take a shot, albeit against the best horse/filly on the planet.

MY biggest single bet today was a Munnings-Summer Bird/Hold Me Back DD.
I was right on 1 of the 10 Spa races I bet today and still made a sizeable profit. WHAT A GAME.

Hope you had a good day at the windows.

I am very surprised to see Munnings run 4 great beyer figures prior to todays race. It was probably too much to ask on relativlely short rest. Should be a force in his 4yr old career

Oh I think Munnungs will be a force (on dirt) the rest of the year.
Any 7f race and the Cigar Mile, he will be heard from.

Great call Steve on the exclusion of two short priced horses. They'll both be heard from again, but you picked a PERFECT spot to go against. One of the main setbacks in the game that I still face, is knowing when to stand against a horse on the slop/against the bias. Would've had the tri for $10 in the 4th as opposed to the $2 I had it for, if I were able to pitch the 9 completely, who ran morbidly on an off-track prior to today.

GEE, V/J, Dec,

Thanks a lot... Was very pleased with the way I saw things for the most part, and only really missed the import in the stake and Get Stormy. Was a good day of racing considering the conditions. Became apparent early too that speed was useless Saturday, and that helped isolate players during the day.

Hope everyone had a good Travers...
