the reason i asked why on the off track is that i honestly don't know of any track that hold me back likes! he may end up being a one hit wonder, much like charitable man.
if any horse would deal with an off track, it would be summer bird-he's run well on them twice. pletcher absolutely doesn't want rain for his horse. i wouldn't be surprised if quality road scratched if the weather gets bad.
