I love the honesty! Favorite video might have been Jam or of course Thriller.

What do you think about the pedophilia accusations?

I have this weird thing where i can detach myself from all of the ancillary stuff. The Michael Jackson we saw on stage seemed like a character. It was someone he became. That character was an amazing talent.

Do I think there was something there? Impossible to say. You would think that after the FIRST time that he would keep himself clear of situations like that so maybe there was some fire to that smoke. Would I let any of my kids spend the night over there? No...which makes me curious as to why the last parents let their kids over there.

The real question is whether or not those kids he claimed were his really were his?

I think he might be innocent. Tito looks like a kiddie fiddler and he's never been accused.

The kids are white. I'd say no.

I don't get people saying he was an amazing talent.

He was hopeless as a singer.

I guess he could do that useless moon walk thing of his. I've seen better dancing when I was in high school.

Did he play instruments (besides the flute that is)?

Did he write music? Lyrics?

Of the last three, only lyrics are possible, and his lyrics were as shallow as Death Valley.

That is, if he even wrote them.

He had an awesome voice from like 8-14. Had a 3 octave range, and a great natural voice tone. He was a great little dancer. There's a point (when he was 16-18 ) where he really didn't have much. His voice had changed to a mediocre male version of Diana Ross, and his body was very awkward. If he didn't have incredible creative abilities, then his career would have pretty much faded there(cuz he has never had a great singing voice as an adult.) So, I agree with you about his singing voice(from about '75 on.) His dancing, and writing ability? Have no clue how you can say he didn't have massive ability in those 2 areas. Unless it's a country or rock act, if you want to make money in a concert tour, it's now pretty much a necessity to have complex dancing involved. You grew up in SOCAL. You know the local stations (2,4,5,7,9,11, and 13.) The only one this memorial service isn't on is 13.

To paraphrase a former Scuds quoute:

I think LA folk would pay to see whores battle each other in a wiffle ball game.
