Yes it does. We have the annual Del Mar V. Saratoga Debate each year which is alot of fun. The board seems very similiar except it just being from an East Coast point of view. I think I am going to enjoy it here

Default Welcome all!

Welcome to the 'flood' of newcomers... Thrilled to have you find Derby Trail, and eager and pleased to have you contribute to the wide array of racing (and non-racing) topics the group covers!

I'm new here as well. I work in the industry but came to the game as a fan first.
I noticed someone named "the Bid." Are you the same "Bid" I've seen on some other boards?

Newbie here too.

Was introduced to this forum, unfortunately, by the link to the Lost in the Fog news that was posted in a number of other forums around the racing world. But I'm glad I found it.

Previous lurking done at the Del Mar Fan Forum as well. I agree that the two places are similar -- lots of good people, interesting (and sometimes heated) debates, knowledgable participants, and great humor.

Looking forward to losing my weanling/yearling (is there juvenile?) status soon.
