I am afraid to say, that that makes Mine That Bird legit, as the Beyer par achieved prior to the Preakness is a 104 (oddly, 1 less than the Derby previous Beyer of 105

After I Want revenge Scratched , you now see that historically the Derby was a cluster**** of horses, none of whom(save Dukirk) were qualfied to win. But, Dunkirk was rumored to be having physical problems, and the resultant hoof injury bears fruit
Only Quality Road and Dunkirk, if running in the Preak, alongside of Mine That Bird have the credentials I Want Revenge is out till late summer; Quality Road will be ready for the Belmont at best Past Preakness trifectas have often had 2 out of 3 of the Derby finishers, plus an extra |
