there was overwhelming support for the war in 2002/2003. it was nothing like 50/50. as a nation we rushed in without thinking through consequences just as we may try to rush out without thinking through consequences.

we were badly misled about the need to go to war, but that doesn't change the fact that this was a war supported by most americans, including me at the time.

it's puzzling that anyone thinks otherwise. it wasn't that long ago.

People like to forget their little errors.
I was totally convinced Iraq had WMD's...
Totally...

Its rather embarrassing looking back on it.
I just did not think WE could make an error
this massive.

the worst part for me was my girlfriend at the time was convinced the wmd's were bs and i was convinced she was a conspiracy nut.

the president wouldn't lie.

i still think she just got lucky. she also believed in aura's.

I did/thought exactly the same thing.
Only I argued with my "boss" Principal.

Past tense because she no longer believes,
or she is no longer your girlfriend? If it's the later...
