That's not necessarily true. He's got roughly $175,000 in graded earnings, which may or may not be enough. Plus, if Wilkes had him cranked up enough to win the Hutcheson, why would he back off of him now? That's not how you bring along a three-year-old..

The "agendas" of all of the trainers/owners are to see if their horses can go at least a mile and whether or not to continue on the Trail.. Not sure what other agenda there would be.
