i thought the golden retriever was fabulous, but they took the sussex instead.
i thought that best in show group was one of the worst ever, but what do i know?

at least that poodle didn't win.

I think the Golden Retriever was the best tonite. I don't particularly enjoy the breed (all that much) but, if one of those was ever gunna win, it should of been tonite. Yes, Zig, the most you can usually hope for is to keep them damn poodles from winning. I took care of somebody's little poodle until he died at age 18. It was sad. It's always sad, but he was kind of an a-s-s hole. Better him than the others.

If I get a bigger dog, it's probably gunna be a Boxer. People rave about those Anatolian Sheperds, but I don't know that much about them.

see, i don't care for breeds where they clip the ears and dock the tails. or dogs with bows in their hair, where you spend more time grooming them than yourself!

A lot of those dogs with their ears clipped n' tails docked are very low maintenance dogs. They have short hair, and never have to have it cut. A lot of times, whether to get the ears done, is optional. The short-haired dogs are the least trouble. Isn't that rat terrier pretty low maintenance? Just feed it, and get nails cut? Maybe some Frontline, or Advantage now n' then. Some of these others have to be cut every couple months, and the fleas are worse with that long fuzzy hair.

yeah, she's low maintenance. i just don't like the look of the ears and tail-just seems odd to me to do those things to a dog-is there a purpose, or is it just for looks?

I was ready to complete a palm clap
and trump that with a polite "splendid",
but I restrained myself.

However, I did dab the corners of my mouth
very politely with a cloth napkin after finishing
a delightful sorbet rounding out my 5 course meal.

Man I need to pee somewhere.

no harm meant about the show, I just think they are a bit stuffy. Reminds me of horse shows my wife was in that bored the crap out of me.

the scottie wetted the carpet while they were taking her out for best in show. it seemed to produce the most applause.

Splendid.

She/he "showed" them.

I apologize.
I am just pitiful tonight.
And I will most likely remain juvenile and
bad in many posts to come.
