No. He's got very little chance, but it's not because he's hurt.

He definitely looks like he belongs in this race after the State bred allowance win. I would not take any short odds on him if you are going to play him. He is a closer so pay attention to how the track runs tomorrow.

The issue that comes with Commissioner Chris is that I don't think he is going to have enough pace to run at.

If he can stay a little closer to the leader, I'd say he is a nice play 4-1 to 8-1, but do not think that he is hurt in the race. Just because he won a State Bred Allowance race does not mean he can't run in a claiming race any longer. Persuad put this horse in at 10k not that long ago and he didn't win.

You make the call!

Handicapping is one thing. Tough enough game as it is. The game of claiming horses, figuring out whether or not a horse belongs, the "spot" or "drop", where he belongs when he's in someone else's barn, etc. -- all of that is a game of mental masturbation, and you can go 'round and 'round and it just keeps getting worse. When I claim horses, and I know who I am claiming from, I always know how the other guy (or gal) plays the game. Where they drop, why, when, where they protect, do they go in for the low price, and so on. And, no matter how much you know -- you just go 'round and 'round, and, it just keeps getting worse, LOL.

I am with claiming horse trainers. Guys who live and breathe this game, everyday. Same mental masturbation, over and over again. The state-bred races come up all over the board. Sometimes they are salty, sometimes not. I've seen horses leave the condition and end up all over the board. No rule there.

Some people race horses where they can win. Others don't. It's just that simple. Doesn't help with the game of mental masturbation though, LOL.

Can't converse long. Have been handed the death penalty for truthful posting and competent handicpping. No matter, you are in peril.

Many posters offered advice on the "spotting" of your horse with some responses well off the mark.

Ask yourself, Why no one mentioned the condition book? And /or, offered where they would run the horse?

At least you can now understand, you can beat a bunch of the people, a bunch of the time. Waych your back. bbb
