For the same price why don't we rent a short school bus instead, swing by Trackside and stuff as many of the mutants into it as it can possibly hold, then take the 17-hr. road trip to Saratoga with Beer Belly driving , Bill Downes as navigator, Broke Bill, "Lips", Aquino, John Frank, John Marzec's ghost and and as many of the other all-stars as can be enticed by the offer of free cases of Old Milwaukee, a half dozen boxes of Ripple in a box and as many "Slim Jim's' as they want. We'll fly "just to be safe" but we'll be there to greet the lads when they arrive, providing those dumb bastards don't miss the Albany exit and keep driving to Maine.

Can you imagine the odors wafting out of that bus once it arrives at the front gate. That load of sugar plums nestled at the bottom of Downes' diaper would be positively lethal.......
