http://news.bloodhorse.com/article/48063.htm Sounds like she got it via an emergency colic surgery over the summer. Toxins made their way to her feet they're saying. She's in a pretty bad state. I know they're hopeful but we all saw what could happen with Barbaro when it's in more than one foot. What are the recovery odds when both front feet are in trouble? They've had to cut tendons to realign both of them.

I swear I took a minute to look for a thread on this. I even looked at the dates on the articles to make sure I looked far enough back. Oh well.
I take it she'll always be at risk in the future, even if she gets better now. Say she recovers, does she get to raise foals or will do they like Toussaud?

She had been in foal to O'Reilly (see below). Did she lose the foal? It wouldn't have been due until late Oct/earlyNov.
