that's it in a nut shell. If there was no gambling on horse racing how many of you would follow the sport watch online or go to the track? It would be boring
and except for the photo finishes, you seen 1 horse race you have seen them all. Before you readers tear me apart, think about it. I doubt if any of us would be involved at all. Just my opinion, so fire away DT er's

Dubai seems to do alright without any official gambling

Dubia is full of wealthy people, free medical, school, college the goverment takes care of everybody from oil revenues from us. The public has nothing to do but go to the races. They gamble with punters and on line don't kid yourself, however my question was would you go to track, or follow horse racing if there was no gambling? I doubt it.

i followed racing for years before i ever put a dime into it.

i don't give a rats ass if you do or not, but it's true. i never went to a track til after i moved to arkansas and went to oaklawn-about ten years ago, but i've been watching racing and been a fan since the mid 70's when i was a kid.
