What happened to Pure Clan?

She was being pointed towards the Oaks.

I read that the trainer thought the horse needed a couple more weeks -- will instead run in Grade 1 Garden City at Belmont in early September.

Ah, thanks!

How are you doing in the TVG contest this time around?

Doing okay, but there are at a least a couple people ahead of me that have used less picks. I got a few goose eggs the first week and Einstein's stumble at the break in the Arlington Million did not help. Also, some of my horses decided to take 60-day layoffs (Dancing Forever, Go Between).

I think the contest will be won based on making a successful stable transition from dirt horses to artificial track and European turf horses before the Breeders Cup.

I wish there were more fantasy contests out there since I really enjoy them. I miss the on-line fantasy contest that the NYRA used to have on their website.

Yeah, same here. I picked up a few horses that had plans mapped out for them and they all went on the shelf for no readily apparent reason.

I like Misty Ocean in the Delmar Oaks, of the stakes races today she looks like one of the better bets to land on.
