Being that I live 10 minutes from Scioto Downs and 15 minutes from Beulah Park all the time I am seeing Horse Trailers going up and down the road. The road that I live directly off of is a commonly used route for Horsemen to take their Horses to the barns behind Scioto Downs, so from May until September, every day, you can see a Trailer being pulled with a buggy on top. Especially between the hours of Noon till around 3pm. Now, also consider that when I look out my spare bedroom window, I see in the distance a Horse Farm.
Wanna talk about the place to be if you love horses, Columbus is the home of the Quarter Horse Congress, which draws half a million people over the course of its month long stay at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. A wonderful time to be had if you have not been to it.
I am all the time thinking of what would make a cool Horse name. Hey, look at the name of that road. The name on that liscense plate. Boy it would be nice to be at the track, etc etc.. I usually try to stay away from racing thoughts while I am behind the wheel seeing how I have a "perfect" driving record I can't afford any more points on my record
