Stayed at NYNY and it started off rocky, but quickly improved. The next time we came through the doors it was 4 a.m. and it was blazing in there. They had to change out the ac motor in our room and as they were doing so, there was a knock on our door and it was a bellman with the cart and the keys to our new room. We started with the 3rd level room and got bumped literally 5 levels. It was just over 1500 square feet.....next time though, we'll probably stay at the Venetian.

If you can get Wynn for a lower price than the Venetian (which you normally should), it's better... although Venetian's very good too. When I go, I normally stay 1 night on the north end, then the rest at NY on the south end. I know those 3rd level rooms at NY well. Tip for you... when you check in at NY, ask for a corner room (they'll put you in a room with 2 different views, one of MGM, other of north or south strip).
