Having been with Gary for as long as I have I can say he is NOT a cheater, no ifs, ands or buts.

I saw Gary cozying up to Bobby Flay yesterday. I told Bobby what he really needs is an Italian trainer.

It is an unpopular comment because it implies some sort of chicanery when the truth is it is just flat out wrong. He was the 5:1 second choice ML.

You aren't serious, are you? The 1-2 favorite had a career-high Beyer of 71, while Sciacca's horse ran a 69 in his last race, and you're insinuating that funny money made him 4-1?

I hated him at that price, and it cost me a nice pick 4 (other 3 winners were A's for me), but funny business? Sciacca? What, he fed him some pasta fagioli?

Brutal. Had $5 p3's to both, so similar payoffs ($500 to Benny, about 3 dimes to MoD)

Nothing against Benny, who's a nice horse and I like him a lot, but 1/2 was tough to swallow off the Dubai trip.

I think you got this thread mixed up with the least impressive one.

Pays to Dream has turned into a very good horse.

His performance in the Saranac at Saratoga last summer was exceptional all things considered.

I really can't believe he was 11-1. I played him and Strike a Deal pretty hard. I was thinking - with a horse like Pays to Dream - does the morning line end up determining how people read his last performance? If he's 4-1 on the ml instead of 8-1 does he still go off at 11-1?

To me he was very impressive, he's improved enormously in the last 6-7 months...
