From what I read about it, if the New Madrid goes, it will be a large one, no small ones are coming from that area, according to the earthquake people.

In the span of 6 hours two catastrophic earthquakes hit. That is unreal.

At St. Louis, Missouri, many houses were damaged severely, and their chimneys were thrown down. The meizoseismal area was characterized by general ground warping, ejections, fissuring, severe landslides, and caving of stream banks.
