because he has held himself up to be some straight arrow moral exemplar. because he was an arrogant tough zealous prosecutor who pompously talked about how the people he went after were lowlifes with no values, including protitution rings! because he took over the governership saying things were going to be different from day one and he would change state government for the better, because he had an account with this VIP club and it wasn't simply a moment of indiscretion, because of all that its important that he get fried. and he comes on yesterday and tried meekly to sweep this aside by saying politics is about ideas and not people, and that this was a private matter!
