The best handicappers can do it quite easily, and BTW is one of the best. It is not that hard to compare horses like these.

And it wasn't a 7f race. It was a mile.

I am challenging him. Let's see who is right.

Sweet Jesus you're insufferable.

However, I commend those who have the energy to actually respond to all this nonsense, I tend to not even be able to gather the gusto to have a go at it.

I am relentless and competitive. I put my opinions out there. I am not afraid to take a stand. I am very confident about this. I find it funny that he won't. It's just comparing two horses' abilities.

Come on BTW, if I'm such a novice at this, if I'm so wrong and bad with this, why won't you take a stand?

You don't take a stand.

You regurgitate the obvious.

I have taken a stand, just as I did a year ago with you concerning another horse. Now, what is yours? Do you agree with me or disagree? Who is the better horse?

So if WP develops a quarter crack tomorrow and misses 6 months you are a genius? It's Fn horses .. WP hasn't done anything wrong as is extremely fast how the heck do you know what he is...he could be SSlew for all we know.. shut up and cheer for them both to be great. Why does anyone have to guess who will be better? As for who is better so far its a ridiculous question WP has been AWESOME

No, it's only if they race each other.

It isn't who has been better so far. It is who is the more talented horse. When they meet up, who will win. What handicapper doesn't have to make decisions like this all the time?

I once asked Clint Glaibraith trainer of the one greatest Standard breds Niatross who was the better of the two colts he trained Niatross or Call for Rain... he laughed at me said "Niatross was way faster but he would have loved to take Call for Rain a long side and challenge him because he was the toughest SOB he had ever ridden" in other words he had no clue who would win on any given day..

Yet you seem to know who is better from watching a colt for the second time.. congrats

How are you so certain that either one of them will win if they meet up? Doesn't a lot of that depend on what other horses are entered in the race and their running styles? Perhaps Big Brown and War Pass will burn themselves out, who knows. Furthermore, how can you handicap a race without having all of the information on the race itself?

Um, what about Derby futures?

How about handicapping in general? When isn't a handicapper trying to assess and analyze one horse's talent and ability from another when they are entered in the same race?

Big Brown is in the increasingly appetizing "All other 3yo" option in the Derby future pool.

You haven't set a distance for the race or said who else would be in the field. Without that info there is absolutely no handicapping you can do. Plus we are comparing a runaway winner in an off the turfer to a proven stakes horse.

Apples and oranges? I think not. I don't have a clue what I am talking about...oh, how odd, that's all I ever get on this board, and I think it is very funny coming from someone who says that we are talking about apples and oranges. Analyzing ability and talent is a large part of handicapping, and that is what comparing War Pass and Big Brown is all about. How is it not? What about the Derby future wagers?

My questions won't get answered.

You are right about the mile...No accuses should have realized that..I had his 7f split on my brain which was around the same as the other two nice colts that ran earlier on the card...nobody is suggesting he isn't any good... we are suggesting that you keep your panties on a little longer before you build a statue of the BB and mount it at GP

It's okay. It happens to everyone.

I just recognize him for what he is....

Not getting my panties in a bunch, and certaintly not ready to build any statue. He's even been having issues as suggested by the long layoff.
