Dang, had Yankee Bravo with Cafe Tortoni as alternate. Almost switched pick to Cafe Tortoni thinking with the bigger odds his place and show price might be bigger than the win/place/show of the favorite. Oh well, like my grandpa always said, "You gotta be happy anytime you score."

I thought we were only going to have one contest race this week but the folks at Santa Anita managed to pull off a miracle and provide a race track that didn’t embarrass them (unless you count a 1:06 world record ). Nice picks by cboh11, megahertz, rontheman1964 and Immanuel Kant who all picked both winners for the weekend… although the money leader for the day was ryonker who picked the two biggest priced horses for the weekend.

Our Top Two look very familiar (Bigsmc and Hickory Hill Hoff) but cboh11 has moved into the show position – nice job!

After a good couple of weeks, we looked pretty bad in Week 4. The combined rate of loss for all who picked this week was 30.5%, considerably worse than the track take. Our overall rate of loss is now 17.5%.

This week there were 54 cappers who posted picks, but one of them only picked one race. So the amount bet was $642. The winning tickets added to $446.40.
