With all due respect to English Channel, I would think Curlin would be a more highly sought-after stallion prospect. BC Classic winner, Preakness Winner, all as a 3YO? I know that if I'm looking for a son of Smart Strike at stud and had the choice betwixt English Channel and Curlin, I'm going to Curlin.
Just one man's opinion.
Plus Curlin is big, powerful, and precocious(arguably) while EC is a little headcase
