That's utter nonsense in this context.

The terrorists are in no way fighting for freedom ... they hate Jews and openly profess an obsessive desire to kill all of them. And they readily kill any of their co-religionists who disagree with their goals and methods.

On the other hand ... the members of the U.S. military have always been freedom fighters ... defeating brutal, murderous tyrannies and establishing free democracies in their place.

Think about that ... for many seconds.
