Bush on Democratic Congress Failures

the govt is failing us. bush has bad ideas, but no one else seems to have a proposal to counter it. who will step up? who will solve our problems? hell, congress' approval rating is as low as bush! why? same old, same old. both point fingers at the other, rather than showing us a way to fix things. don't bitch about what's wrong, fix it!!

I think you said it quite clearly, and I agree.
I'm not sure who will step up and it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't one from either of the two major parties.
The more people I talk with, the more I hear that they're disgusted...FED UP!

I got thinking about this, and I haven't totally given up hope.
If you look at the following legislation, and the one that introduced it, there might be some sanity. The people certainly deserve it.

i know i am. enough with the blame game, do something! but so many in our govt are the same that have been there for years, and have got us into this mess--they aren't the ones to get us out.

BUT, it's election season. what will get done, other than campaigning??

Huh? Bush isn't in congress. He's part of the executive branch.
Many shrubs have branches, take lilacs for example. They come up from a few main stems (unlike trees that only have one main one, and usually grow taller), then they branch out to their leaf structures where the photosynthesis happens, just like all green plants.

I have no problem going into IRAQ. I don't agree with his reasoning. I think he should have genocide has his reason. He could have said that we did it in the Balkans under Clinton and we need and can do it in IRAQ. I also believe that we should have instituted the draft as well. In WWII we drafted 14 million men to send over to Europe. Now we have the means to draft 30 million people. The reason for going to IRAQ is OK, the way it is managed is the problem.

probably nothing, because both parties run things now like its 24/7 campaign season. they both continually cow-tow to their bases, which in both cases are the people that are on the nut-based fringe. you know the same old bull ****, abortion,gays, burning the flag,religion. the kind of crap government has no business wasting time on. meanwhile scare everyone with the big "terrroist" threat, at the same time the borders are ungaurded. makes perfect sense to all the morons in DC. then they elevate the al-queda to the same level as the third reich for crying out loud. newflash people . when folks have to use commercial airplanes,suicide bomb belts and car bombs that smoke hours before they go off. well ,they don't have much going for them. yet they will be here to pillage and rape your community any day now . lol. then some moron at homeland security has a "gut" feeling they will attack this summer. well i better go out and build me a bombshelter! then the best part is the idiots in the media. "should we be scared"? give me a freakin break. and don't even get me started on Iraq. it probably actually doubled the amount of them all ready after us anyway. the whole thing would be funny if it wasn't bankrupting us and ruining our military. let alone all good young people we lost, for nothing. using good intel, rounding them up or killing the actual terrorist . well i guess that was too simple for these genuises.
