Damn, Had Humble Janet to win and in my pick three. Almost.


I was at Oaklawn a few years ago, and an oldtimer next to me said "you got to watch out for those Humble horses." He said they started out naming them Humble 1, Humble 2, Humble 3, etc., up to about Humble 20, Then they made them stop using numbers. Don't know if it was true or not, but I think of him now every time I see a Humble horse.

She was inbred. Out of Humle Retha and sire Humble Eleven.

Yea it's true, Jim Danaher is the Breeder/Owner. I'm not sure how high the count got before the jockey club stopped him, but he was into the teens.
