I think we can all agree that the rents/prices these days anywhere in the city are a phucking joke. I just signed the contract to sell my apt for 30% higher than I bought it for 14 months ago. Eventually that kind of absurd appreciation turns around, even in NYC.
I don't know a ton about Real Estate, but haven't people been waiting for the housing bubble to burst for a while now?
