"Miracle trips"

Well, I wouldn't refer to any of them as a "miracle," but the one in the Derby was pretty amazing, simply because of the field size. I don't think anybody has ever denied that the colt has a strong inside closing move, but the fact that he was able to pass that many other horses on the inside was pretty strange.
A colt with his style (even one as obviously talented as Street Sense) will always need a bit of racing luck to win. Does he need a miracle? No.
